Shavez Mukri
Shavez Mukri is a seasoned legal professional with nearly two decades of practice, having been called to the Bar in 2006. An alumnus of the Government Law College, Mumbai, he commenced his career in the chambers of a leading Senior Counsel and has honed his advocacy skills across diverse areas of law before establishing himself as a formidable practitioner in his own right.
Over the course of his career, Shavez has built a robust practice spanning litigation, alternate dispute resolution, and transactional documentation. His criminal law practice encompasses complex economic offences, financial frauds, and matters under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors Act — areas that demand both forensic precision and courtroom tenacity. In parallel, he has consistently handled civil suits and conducted commercial arbitrations before domestic tribunals, the High Court, and statutory bodies, calibrating his approach to the subject matter and the governing arbitral framework in each case.
A significant part of Shavez's practice is devoted to insolvency and restructuring work under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. He has led dedicated teams in high-value claims before the National Company Law Tribunal and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal across multiple benches in India, successfully stewarding complex resolution processes for reputed clients. His clientele spans the banking, real estate, information technology, logistics, and multinational sectors, Resolution Professionals to whom he provides both strategic legal advice and transactional support.
Girish Paryani
Girish Paryani also leads the Litigation and Transactional practice at A&G Legal Associates LLP, bringing to the firm a breadth of courtroom experience and a sharp focus on constitutional law, property law, and real estate matters that few practitioners can match.
Girish obtained his LL.B. in 2006 and his LL.M. in 2008, but his legal journey began well before graduation. In 2004, he commenced his training as an intern under a leading Senior Advocate at the Bombay High Court, an early immersion in high court practice that shaped both his advocacy and his analytical rigour. From 2004 to date, he built his practice steadily through intensive court appearances, mentorship, and exposure to a wide spectrum of legal disputes.
Over two decades of practice, Girish has appeared and argued matters spanning Administrative Law, Property and Real Estate Law, Family Law, Criminal Law, and Constitutional Law. He has developed particular depth in Constitutional Writ jurisdiction, regularly appearing in matters under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India before the Bombay High Court and subordinate courts across Mumbai.
His property and real estate practice covers the full arc of a transaction from title searches, due diligence, and identification of encumbrances through to drafting and negotiation of transactional documents. He advises developers, landowners, individual purchasers, and cooperative housing societies, ensuring clients enter transactions with complete legal clarity. He has significant High Court litigation experience in property matters, including matters arising out of real estate transactions and municipal law.
Girish advises cooperative housing societies on redevelopment under the Maharashtra
Co-operative Societies Act and DCPR , guiding them from appointment of consultants through
negotiation of development terms and protection of members' interests. He appears regularly
